Sally Salon Services launch fundraising month
Professional hair and beauty supplier Sally Salon Services has kicked off a month of fundraising to support
The Little Princess Trust, and has also announced charity partnerships with In Kind Direct and The Hairdressers' Charity.
Sally Salon Services have supported The Little Princess Trust, which supplies real hair wigs for children during chemotherapy, for five years. Their efforts so far have raised £300,000, with
£67,000 of that raised last year alone. In order to attempt to exceed that figure this year, the company are hosting a month of
fundraising activities at its headquarters and in stores across the UK and Ireland, including a charity bake sale and Sienna X tanning treatments. Visitors to their stores can also purchase Little Princess Trust wristbands to help support the charity.
Sally Salon Services have also unveiled charity partnerships; through their association with In Kind Direct, which distributes products to charities and not-for-profit organisation, the company has supplied four palettes of hair and beauty products.
James Williams, Deputy CEO of
In Kind Direct says:
“The feedback from charities in our network shows the impact product donations from Sally Beauty are having with thousands of people across the UK. Whether used to provide pamper sessions for cancer patients or in packs for young women living in poverty, products that help people look and feel better play an invaluable role in addressing low self-esteem and social isolation.”
Through their second new charity partnership, Sally Salon Services has donated £6,000 to
The Hairdressers' Charity, with a further £500 per month promised going forward. This is the official charity of the hairdressing sector, providing financial assistance for members of the industry.
Olivier Badezet, CEO of Sally Europe comments:
“We're delighted to be supporting The Hairdressers' Charity with the amazing work they do every day to help hairdressers going through difficult times. This industry is about people, and it thrives on creativity, collaboration and mutual respect. We're proud to sponsor an organisation committed to being there for professionals in their hour of need.”
