London lash brand celebrates retail success
Shantel Williams, founder and CEO of Famousme Accessorize, is celebrating after urban hair and beauty shop Pak's has taken on the brand's vegan mink eyelashes, both online and within its retail stores. Within 24-hours of the launch, all Famousme Accessorize Vegan Mink Eyelashes had sold out.
Operating since 1967,
Pak's is a renowned multicultural hair and beauty outlet retailing extensions, wigs, hair care and beauty products.
Currently available in Harlow and Woodgreen shops, Famousme Accessorize products will be available in all of Pak's 28 stores by March 2023.
Famousme Accessorize was established by Shantel Williams (pictured) in 2015, launching gender-friendly Vegan Mink Eyelashes in September 2021.
As a third-party seller of the lashes, Pak's has supported Famousme to upscale and exposed the brand to new customers.
Shantel is proud to be the first Black/ Nubian woman from East London to launch Vegan Mink Eyelashes in Pak's store, and as well as driving the success of her business is also currently studying Business Management at university.
Commenting on her brand's success, Shantel Williams, founder and CEO of
Famousme Accessorize, says:
“Being an Entrepreneur has taken an enormous amount of determination and drive from me. However, despite being less than a year-old running Famousme Accessories as an online business, I have been able to recruit employees and make a steady revenue while completing my university studies.
“Famousme core values are Respect, Resilience and Risk, which define the brand's holistic scope. Speaking to our consumers and customers helps us start conversations regarding natural resources and making our FM vegan Mink Eyelashes known.
“Finally, brand awareness is fundamental because our customers can have a knowledge-based insight into our strategic goals and what the business is trying to accomplish, which benefits society rather than our brand.”
