Cinema Secrets agrees UK distribution deal
US make-up brand Cinema Secrets Pro Cosmetics has agreed a distribution and sales partnership with UK-based health and beauty brand builders Intamarque.
The agreement sees the launch of Cinema Secrets Pro Cosmetics Makeup Sanitizers and Brush Cleaners in the UK.
Founded by the late renowned MUA Maurice Stein in California 35 years ago, Cinema Secrets Pro Cosmetics features cruelty-free formulas to benefit those working on film and TV sets, where longevity and sanitation are crucial. The family-owned business is now run by Maurice's son Michael and granddaughter Jessica.
Intamarque has secured agreements for Cinema Secrets with UK online retailers including The Hut Group, Beauty Bay, Feel Unique, Just My Look, and Look Fantastic, with more retailers to be announced soon.
Commenting on the partnership with Cinema Secrets Pro Cosmetics, Kate Earrey, Senior National Account Manager at Intamarque, says:
“More than ever we see a trend for consumers wanting to create professional techniques in the comfort of their own home, something that lockdown has had a catalyst effect on. Consumers are more invested in searching to recreate pro tips and techniques, something that Cinema Secrets offers. In particular, the combination of education and product availability mean US and now UK consumers are more educated in the benefits and importance of effective brush cleaning and sanitisation to aid better product performance as well as skin deep benefits. The credibility and reputation of Cinema Secrets was a key driver in establishing the relationship with the brand, here at IM we are excited for the growth of this brand in the UK, allowing consumers to access backstage professional products developed with MUAS at the forefront.”
