Alfaparf Milano expands sun-exposed hair & skin range
Alfaparf Milano Professional has expanded its Semi di Lino Sunshine range, designed to care for hair exposed to the sun while helping to protect the hair fibre and cosmetic colour from UV-related damage.
Formulated for use during sun exposure, products work to counteract dryness, frizz and loss of shine, supporting soft, silky-looking hair even in challenging summer conditions.
At the core of the Sunshine line is Sun Shield, an active ingredient that creates a protective film around the hair fibre to help defend against the negative effects of UV rays and oxidative stress.
This 100% natural active ingredient is derived from cold-extracted chia seed oil (Salvia Hispanica). It helps reduce protein loss, colour fading and dehydration while promoting shine, hydration and softness when hair is exposed to sun, salt and chlorine.
New for 2026, Alfaparf Milano Professional has introduced the After-Sun Hydra Treatment, extending the Sunshine concept into bodycare. Designed for sun-exposed skin, the treatment deeply hydrates and helps to prolong a tan.
The Semi di Lino Sunshine range includes:
- After-Sun Low Shampoo to gently cleanse scalp and lengths after sun exposure
- After-Sun Treatment to nourish and detangle hair stressed by sun, salt and chlorine
- Hair Protective Oil to help protect hair from external factors while maintaining moisture and cosmetic colour
- Hair Protective Milk to hydrate, control frizz and support lightweight shine
- After-Sun Hydra Treatment for sun-exposed skin
Alongside Sun Shield, formulas also feature Urban Defence Pro, Shine Fix Complex, Colour Fix Complex and Climate-Proof technology. All Sunshine products are vegan and presented in recycled and recyclable packaging.
