In his capacity as a make-up artist he has also made major contributions to numerous advertising campaigns, catalogues and fashion shows, with his clients including Gucci, Nina Ricci, Kenzo, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Chloé to name but a few. In 2011 Jabe masterminded the make-up for five episodes in the 16th season of America's Next Top Model.

He has worked as Creative Director for various cosmetics firms and magazines, and founded the international avant-garde magazine OOB as a unique platform for make-up artists.

Sponsored by Kryolan Berlin and Messe Düsseldorf, the award will be presented at the trade expo on Saturday 10th March.
