Organic spa brand recruits to drive growth

Lucy Mingo IshgaHebridean skincare company, ishga, has appointed two new members of staff to drive growth in the UK as well as build on expanding international opportunities. 

Lucy Mingo (left) is joining the firm as Business Development and Account Manager whilst Cara Hosie takes on the role of Head of Marketing.

As Business Development and Account Manager for ishga, Lucy Mingo will maintain and grow existing accounts, open new accounts, support sales, marketing and educational programs, and implement incentive schemes. She will also assist with point-of-sale merchandising materials and ensure all training requirements are delivered. Previously, Lucy won the Catey Awards Spa Professional of the Year 2015, and she has worked in therapy and management roles across the UK and Europe.

Cara Hosie IshgaCara Hosie (pictured right) joins ishga as Head of Marketing where she will focus on driving growth for the brand for both B2B and B2C customers, raising the profile of ishga amongst the spa industry both in the UK and internationally.

She will also be tasked with improving marketing support and resources for existing spa partners. Internationally, she will work with distributors to understand their priorities whilst aligning the brand values. Prior to joining ishga, Cara worked as Marketing Team Manager at fatBuzz. 

Created using hand-harvested seaweed and essential oils, ishga's organic skincare range features anti-ageing, hydrating and skin-renewing formulations. The brand is established in the UK as well as Australia, North America, Germany and The United Arab Emirates, and is due to launch in India in late-2021. ishga is also currently in talks with distributors in North Africa and Japan.
