Nature meets science in Spanish skincare

Award-winning Spanish skincare brand Dafna's Personal Skincare is now available in the UK.

The range has been created by Madrid-based aromatherapist Dafna Shaham, working in collaboration with scientists to combine traditional Ayurvedic principles and essential oils with innovative biotechnology. The result is an anti-ageing collection formulated with a combination of 40 super-charged natural bio-active ingredients.

Repair and Revitalise Eye Care is one of the brand's hero products, a serum-like lotion featuring 16 potent actives including Chicory root oligosaccharides and hydrolysed Soy protein which enhance the production of collagen and synthesis. The lotion is enriched with Rosehip oil which reduces the appearance of fine lines, and Calendula extract which reduces puffiness. With regular use, the product promises to have a natural skin-tightening effect on the eye contour, reducing dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.

An additional key product in Dafna's range is Recovery Cleanser, a multi-tasking luxury balm-to-milk cleanser which deeply cleanses and lifts dirt and impurities, removing make-up without irritation. The formulation of Moringa, Bamboo and Argan organic oils fights oxidation caused by factors such as sun exposure and pollution, and helps to recover the skin's natural healing ability as well as reduce intrinsic stress. The balm can also be used as a super nutritive mask – just apply before bedtime and leave on overnight.
