Shared Beauty Secrets founder wins entrepreneur award
Clare Anderson, founder of Shared Beauty Secrets, has been named Great British Entrepreneur of the Year in the South East in the Health & Beauty category.
Since establishing the business in 2009, Clare has successfully launched the Lava Shell massage treatment in the UK and Ireland, and her company has trained over 10,000 therapists.
During lockdown, Clare designed and launched self-heating eye and face masks under the brand name Sensory Retreats to provide an at-home spa type experience whilst businesses had to close.
She has also launched a new wellbeing brand for children, Elfland UK.
The Great British Entrepreneur Awards rewards the country's most exceptional business leaders. Clare received her award at a gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Commenting on her success, Clare Anderson says:
"It feels fantastic to have been recognised at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and to have collected my award alongside a number of other amazing people running all kinds of different businesses."
The awards were judged by Johnny Paterson, founder of the Dr Paw Paw range of products, who commented:
"Clare has had so much deserved success over a period of time and I've been impressed with how she has grown the business in the face of adversity."
