Scalp care brand launches #ItsNotJustHair campaign
Monpure's #ItsNotJustHair campaign features Christala Fletcher, Beth Finlay, Dominique (Mimi) Drew, Rima Theisen, and Harriet (Hattie) Gilford.
Scalp and hair care brand, Monpure, has launched the #ItsNotJustHair campaign to highlight the psychological impact of hair loss.
There is still a shame and stigma attached to the issue of female hair loss despite how widespread this condition is, with many affected often told “it's just hair”. However, female hair loss can have a serious impact on mental health and self-esteem.
The
#ItsNotJustHair campaign features five women who have experienced hair loss through conditions such as Alopecia and Trichotillomania. In a short film, these women express how the psychological impact of their hair loss has impacted their lives as well as put a spotlight on the lack of help they received, whilst giving representation to those who are currently suffering from female hair loss.
The campaign began with a ‘pre-launch' with visuals across 27 digital billboards in London. The video has since gone live across
Monpure's platforms having received over 1 million views so far.
