Salons & spas reopen in England and Wales
Beauty and hair salons and spas in England and Wales are reopening their doors today (12th April), as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Hairdressers and barbershops in Wales have been open since 15th March.
Mobile services are also able to operate.
Professionals must work within government COVID-19 guidelines to ensure minimal transmission of the virus.
Hairdressing salons and barbershops in Scotland reopened on Monday 5th April for hair services, and beauty salons, spas, nail salons, complementary therapy practices and other close contact services may resume from Monday 26th April.
Beauty and hair businesses in Northern Ireland must remain closed under lockdown restrictions, with a review due on 15th April.
