Pedal with Purpose for the Hair & Beauty Charity
The Hair & Beauty Charity has announced a new one-day cycling fundraising challenge taking place in two locations on Sunday 22nd September.
Open to cyclists of all levels, the Pedal with Purpose Northern Route, which covers the Peak District, will be led by Paul Brooks of Alan Howard, whilst the Southern Route through Tunbridge Wells is hosted by Toby Dicker of The Chapel hairdressing group and Philip Sharp of Salon Vision.
The Pedal with Purpose entry fee is £25, which is contributable towards a minimum fundraising pledge for the Hair & Beauty Charity of £100.
Pedal with Purpose is the Charity's latest fundraising initiative following their successful Golf Day, held in partnership with the Hair & Beauty Suppliers Association (HBSA) at Hellidon Lakes Golf Resort in Northamptonshire.
The event raised over £6,800 and was supported by sponsors Kao Salon Division, Sienna X, Schwarzkopf Professional, Wella Professionals, Vish, Rainbow Room International, AJC93, Essence PR, The Gallery, Salonology, Gerrards International, Olivia Garden, Procare and Phillip Rogers (H&BC Chairman).
Commenting on the Pedal with Purpose fundraiser, Jayne Lewis-Orr, President and Trustee of the Hair & Beauty Charity, says:
"Our bike rides have always been one of our most popular fundraising activities. We are thrilled to launch our one day UK based rides, 'Pedal with Purpose', bringing together our community to support those facing challenging times. Every pedal stroke and donation will make a significant difference to the lives of those who need it most."
