Northern Ireland salons to open 23rd April

Beauty salons, hairdressers, barbershops and spas in Northern Ireland will be able to reopen from Friday 23rd April, it has been announced. 

Close contact services have been closed due to COVID-19 restrictions across Northern Ireland since 24th December 2020.

The country will now enter Phase 3 of the Northern Ireland Executive's Pathway Out of Restrictions which means that close contact services can resume, with mitigations, from 23rd April. Mitigations are understood to include appointment-only services, with walk-in appointments only permitted once the country moves into Phase 4 (date to be confirmed).
