Northern Ireland still awaiting reopening dates
Beauty and hair businesses in Northern Ireland have been placed in Phase 3 of the Executive's roadmap for easing COVID-19 restrictions, with no dates specified.
The Northern Ireland Executive published their guidelines
Moving Forward: The Executive's Pathway Out Of Restrictions on 2nd March, which states that Close Contact Services can resume with mitigations at the end of the Phase 3 Gradual Easing phase of the pathway.
By the end of Stage 4, all close contact services will be able to open without appointments, with remaining mitigations, and by the end of Phase 5 all retail and close contact services will be able to open with reduced mitigations.
The document does not state any dates by which each phase will be reached, or what mitigations businesses must have in place.
The next review of Northern Ireland's COVID-19 regulations is due to take place on 16th March, with a four-week review cycle, and the next consideration of potential relaxations taking place in mid-April.
