Naked Weave founder benefits from Dragons' Den experience
The owner of a hair extension business who appeared on this week's episode of the BBC's Dragons' Den says that the investors' words of encouragement have given her the drive to continue her search for business funding.
Although Ola Goldsmith, CEO of Naked Weave Ltd wasn't able to secure funding from the four Dragons, Deborah Meaden gave wise counsel and helped put Ola's nerves at ease by reassuring her that she should feel confident and believe in herself more.
Ola launched Naked Weave Ltd, based in Warwickshire, in 2019, developing a new hair extension technique which uses no heat, glue, braids or visible connections.
Her time in ‘the Den' was part of a wider plan to secure finances to market the product on a larger scale as well as to develop a range of human Remy hair.
Commenting on her appearance on BBC's Dragons' Den, Ola Goldsmith, CEO of
Naked Weave Ltd, says:
“Featuring on the Dragons' Den was the single most scary thing I've ever done in my life - the lead up to it was long and gruelling and there was so much I had to learn about my business that I didn't know before! I was also really eager to see Steven Bartlett during my time on the show and especially excited to hear what he had to say about my product.”
