Industry charity achieves record-breaking fundraising

More beauty and hair professionals in need will receive help this winter thanks to record-breaking donations made to The Hair and Beauty Charity during this year's Salon International held at ExCeL London. 

The charity, which supports individuals and families who are facing financial hardship through no fault of their own, often due to illness or domestic abuse, raised an incredible £14,000 during the three-day event held earlier this month.

A tombola and the sale of donated products and raffle tickets contributed towards the fundraising total collected on the charity's exhibition stand. 

Commenting on their achievement, Natalie Merola, Charity Manager, says:

"We are so grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity shown by the Salon International visitors, our dedicated sponsors, supporters and volunteers. Raising a record-breaking £14,000 at this year's event is a testament to the kindness within the hair and beauty community and with  this unprecedented support, we can continue our mission to assist those in our community who need it most. Thank you to everyone who contributed, these funds will have a lasting impact on the lives of our beneficiaries."

In addition to fundraising at Salon International, the Charity recently launched a monthly Supporter campaign for individuals and businesses to set up a regular monthly donation.
