Gelish Gala sees launch of Beauty Talk Radio

Beauty professionals are set to enjoy a brand new radio station aimed just at them; Beauty Talk Radio will stream 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and has been devised by Nail Harmony UK's Jason and Mark Smedley.

Beauty Talk Radio offers listeners a mix of music and salon-specific features and interviews. Mark Smedley will use his 30 years' experience of working in the music and radio industry on stations including Kiss FM and MiSoul Radio.

The station's launch was announced at the Gelish Gala, hosted by Nail Harmony UK at the Princes Theatre in Clacton-on-Sea recently. As well as Nail Harmony UK's Jason and Georgie Smedley and Jazz Christodoulou, the event was attended by Danny Haile, CEO of Nail Harmony, Nail Alliance's Jake Daniel, and Gelish brand experts Anthony Buckley, Krasimira Petrova, Kristina Manners and Vu Nguyen plus Christopher Kitchen, founder of salon bookings service Book in Beautiful. 

The Gala celebrated the success of Gelish nail technicians who had completed a week of intense Nail Harmony International Educator Training. 

The event also saw the announcement of the winner of the #cherishgelish competition; Kayleigh Morgan topped 150 entries and won a trip to Mexico.
