Face covering law in Wales may end on 28th March
The mandatory wearing of face coverings in all settings in Wales may come to an end on Monday 28th March.
Currently face coverings are mandatory in retail, public transport and health and care settings.
Wales' First Minister Mark Drakeford said yesterday (3rd March) that all remaining COVID-19 restrictions could be lifted, subject to the public health situation.
A confirmed decision is expected in three weeks' time. Although it is likely that the legal requirement to wear a face covering will be removed, it is thought that the wearing of face coverings will become as guidance.
