EveryGreen introduces gentle permanent wave treatment

Professional hair care brand, EveryGreen, has launched a vegan permanent wave treatment that creates curls and waves whilst being kind to the scalp and hair.

This non-aggressive Waving Treatment comprises two elements, Waving Liquid and the Universal Neutraliser. 

The treatment replaces Thioglycolic Acid, used in traditional perming solutions, with the gentler option of Cysteamine HydroChloride which restructures the hair without damaging it. The formula is also free of ammonia to minimise scalp sensitivity as well as unpleasant odours.

In addition, EveryGreen's Universal Neutraliser does not contain Hydrogen Peroxide which allows the product to work at a neutral pH (between 5-7) instead of the usual acidic pH2-3, making it less abrasive on the skin. It also doesn't affect the natural colour of the hair, making it suitable for use on coloured and treated hair, including blonde.

Products are also formulated using Hydrolysed Rice and Soy Proteins which contribute to restoring the structure of brittle hair, making it stronger and more elastic, organic Pomegranate Oil which moisturises and regenerates the hair fibre, and Goji Berry extract, a powerful natural antioxidant that prevents hair ageing and degeneration.

Available in two options, for natural, untreated hair or for coloured treated hair, EveryGreen's Waving Treatment creates full-bodied, elasticised curls which fade out after five to six months removing the need to cut the perm out.
