Elemis launch AI skin diagnostic tool

Elemis AI Skin AnalysisBritish skin brand Elemis has partnered with artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) beauty tech solutions provider Perfect Corp. to launch an innovative skin diagnostic experience. 

The Elemis AI Skin Experience, which is available to consumers in the UK and the USA via their mobile phones, provides clients with a detailed skin assessment and then matches this with products from the Elemis range.

Users firstly complete a questionnaire outlining their main skin concerns and goals plus types of products they prefer. They then take a photo of their face using their mobile enabling a thorough skin scan powered by Perfect Corp.'s advanced AI tech. An overall skin score is calculated and the user's top skin concerns are identified. The users is then matched with targeted skincare products to address core concerns. 

These recommendations can be emailed to the user for reference when they shop for Elemis products in store or for a later purchase on elemis.com.
