Compostable towel brand launches recycling scheme

Salon towelling brand Scrummi has launched a new kerbside recycling scheme to make it easier for Scrummi clients to recycle used towels and sheets.

Run in partnership with commercial recycling specialist Recorra, the scheme will see certified compostable Scrummi towels and sheets turned into high-quality PAS100-certified compost in just 10 weeks.

Although Scrummi products will break down within household waste, the recycling scheme with Recorra is now available to Scrummi clients in London and on the South Coast. 

Commenting on the partnership, Rob Cooper, Founder and Managing Director of Scrummi, says:
