Celebrate the Future of Beauty at British Beauty Week 2025
It's British Beauty Week (20th - 26th October) when our industry celebrates the £30bn contribution it makes to the UK economy. Led by the British Beauty Council, this year's theme is the Future of Beauty which will see a week of consumer and business focused events designed to engage policymakers and industry leaders.
The week will start with a Founders' Network Reception supported by Department for Business and Trade, designed to connect founders with business enablers to propel SME growth.
On Tuesday 22nd October, the Royal Society of Arts will host the British Beauty Council's Industry Hub. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a TikTok Shop LIVE shopping session hosted by The Ordinary, AI-powered gel nail treatments with Umia Beauty, an all-day workshop with Dr. Alex Box, founder of V-METICS and a first look at mdlondon's new AI technology, ‘The Knowing'.
There'll also be a full programme of education with The Sessions, supported by Boots & No7 Beauty Company, Sephora, Elemis, Medik8 and Noli.
There will also be demonstrations by Tendai Moyo, founder of Ruka Hair showcasing biotech based Synths2 extensions, whilst makeup artist Kay Montano will share her tips and tricks.
On 23rd October, the Council will host its annual Packaging Solutions Summit, supported by Plastic Free and Made Thought, which connects personal care businesses with sustainable packaging innovators.
British Beauty Week closes with a number of events on 24th October where owners of high street businesses invite their MPs through their doors. Harrods are hosting an event with Alice Henshaw, founder and CEO of Skincycles, exploring the future of science-led cosmetic skincare alongside a panel of industry experts, and The Linen Service is hosting a Healthy Hair Lab. John Lewis, Debenhams, Boots and Lookfantastic are offering consumer discounts and masterclasses.
