Bluebeards Revenge partners with charity
Male grooming brand, The Bluebeards Revenge, has been announced as an official partner for World Barber Day, a charity initiative in conjunction with UNICEF which raises funds for vulnerable children.
Taking place across a week – 9th to 16th September – World Barber Day encourages all barbers to join to raise money to protect and educate children across the globe.
World Barber Day co-founders, Hugh and Conor McAllister, explained the significance of 16th September, saying:
“We used the barbers in France from 1096 as our inspiration, settling on 16/09 as World Barber Day. The idea was to allow today's barbers to revert back to the historical inspirations of barber-surgeons, and the worldwide changes they made.
“Last year's event was so successful that we've decided to extend this year's celebration across a seven-day period. The event will still culminate on the special date of 16th September, but the extra few days provides barbers and their customers with even more time to donate vital funds for
UNICEF, while proudly demonstrating how well this industry works together to benefit others.”
Already a committed supporter of charities, backing Armour to Barber and The Lions Barber Collective, The Bluebeards Revenge will help promote activities via social media and online, as well through its team of barber ambassadors.
Commenting on the partnership, Nick Gibbens, PR and Marketing Manager at
The Bluebeards Revenge, says:
“This is an opportunity for barbers all over the globe to unite to give back to deprived and underprivileged children…World Barber Day highlights how each and every barber can make a real and significant difference to the world in just one week.”
Barbers and barbershops can get involved in
World Barber Day in a number of different ways, and once registered (before 23rd August) will receive a complimentary welcome pack with promotional materials.
