Wales' beauty salons & mobile to reopen 12th April

Wales' First Minister, Mark Drakeford, has confirmed that close contact services in Wales can resume from Monday 12th April. This includes mobile services.

This means that beauty, nail and tanning salons, spas and complementary therapy businesses can reopen after being closed due to COVID-19 restrictions since 24th December 2020. Mitigation measures required by law in Wales must be put into place to protect the public. 

The announcement comes as Wales moves into Alert Level 3 of COVID-19 restrictions. 

Hair salons and barbershops have been allowed to open from Monday 15th March.
