ABT backs Olympia Beauty postponement decision

ABT has applauded the decision made by the organisers of Olympia Beauty to postpone the event, which was scheduled to take place in October, for this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Organisers have announced that the beauty trade exhibition will be rescheduled for Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th October 2021, at Olympia London.

Commenting on the event's decision, ABT's director, Dave Horton, says:

“The safety of our members, the industry and their families has always been close to our hearts and we and thankful that Ian, Scott and the team have, at great personal financial costs made the brave decision to put safety before commerciality or economics.   

“Please be assured this has not been an easy decision, but after careful consideration and looking at our overall market sector, as event organisers they feel we would be doing the beauty industry a disservice by insisting the show and its associated competitions go ahead for 2020.

“We are delighted that ABT will be fully supporting autumn's biggest event for beauty professionals, which has been postponed to Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th October 2021.”
