Nars unveil Erdem cosmetics collaboration

Launched as part of London Fashion Week, Nars has unveiled a collaborative SS18 cosmetics collection with Erdem.

The Erdem x Nars Strange Flowers collection features 13 products for cheeks, lips and eyes including blushes, eyeshadow palettes and pencils in ethereal lilacs and pinks inspired by exotic floral elements, reflected in the range's pretty packaging.

Nars have been creating the make-up looks for Erdem's runway shows for the past five years, and this new collection was revealed at the designer's LFW show where MUA Val Garland created three different looks using the Strange Flowers palette.

Renowned for his signature feminine designs, Erdem Moralioglu has been hands-on in creating the Erdem x Nars collection, commenting:

“It was really interesting to explore my aesthetic in collaboration with Nars and see how far we could push different elements through color and product. It was fascinating to develop new pigments and palettes as well as the cosmetics themselves.”

Key products in the collection include the Poison Rose Lip Powder palette; sheer lipsticks and lip balms in Voodoo Lily, Wild Flower, Larkspur, Bloodflower, Moon Orchid and Carnal Carnation; Fleur Fatale and Night Garden eyeshadow palettes; White Phox multi-purpose highlighting pencil; Loves Me and Loves Me Not blushes; and blotting papers.

The Erdem x Nars Strange Flowers collection will be available exclusively in Selfridges from 15th April, and nationwide from 1st May.
