Karen Betts launches refillable luxury beauty tool
Beauty innovator Karen Betts has unveiled The KB Pen, described as the world's first luxury, customisable and interchangeable beauty tool for eyes, lips and brows. The launch introduces a refillable beauty system designed to combine premium craftsmanship with everyday practicality.
Manufactured from precision CNC-turned stainless steel and finished using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), a coating process commonly used in fine watchmaking and luxury hardware, The KB Pen has been created as a long-term alternative to disposable cosmetic pencils.
The refillable system is compatible with 19 interchangeable cartridges across eye, lip and brow categories, allowing users to switch between shades and product types while retaining the same pen casing. According to the brand, this approach uses less plastic than traditional disposable mechanical gel pencils while maintaining equivalent formula volume.
The collection features three jewellery-inspired finishes, nine hardware combinations and 19 refill cartridges, including eye, lip and brow options.
The launch also marks the introduction of Beauty Without Occasion, a philosophy developed by Karen Betts that encourages consumers to enjoy luxury products as part of everyday life rather than reserving them for special moments.
