Nail Art Step by Step: Marbled Piscean Designs
With March being the month of the Pisces, Salon System nail expert Rosanna Hatherell has created some gorgeous new nail art, inspired by this watery constellation.
Step One
Start by prepping the nails by filing nails to a round shape.
Push back the cuticle using the Salon System Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and remove the cuticle using the Gellux Erase Cuticle Remover and cuticle clippers.
Buff the nail plate and cleanse nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe.
Apply Gellux Fast Bond followed by one coat of Gellux Cover Soft Focus and cure for 30 seconds.
Step Two
Using Gellux Vividly Violet, Gellux Stormy and Gellux Butterfly Blue, and a large flat nail art brush, pick up all colours and drag across the nail to create your marble ‘backwards C' shape, and cure for 30 seconds.
Step Three
Apply one coat of Gellux Easy Off Base Coat, cure for 30 seconds and then wipe clean with Gellux Prep + Wipe so the nails have no sticky residue left.
Step Four
Next, paint a thin line of Gellux Stick-It-Glue tracing out the Pisces symbol and other constellations.
When you have traced out the symbols, cure for only 5/10 seconds and then stamp foil onto of the glued area and cure for 30 seconds.
Step Five
To finish the look, apply a coat of Gellux Super Shiny Topcoat, cure and then wipe over with Gellux Prep + Wipe.
Finally, finish by applying Gellux Nail & Cuticle Oil.
