Make-up artist launches channel for the over 40s

UR Makeup Pro advises on techniques to help with uneven skin tone and texture, and eyeliner techniques for different and changing eye shapes, including hooded eyes.
Dublin-based Nicola, who has 20 years' experience as a freelance MUA, set up the channel after she was forced to stop working as a make-up artist two years ago due to chronic arthritis, so severe that she is now dependent on a wheelchair for mobility.
Commenting on the success of the
UR Makeup Pro YouTube channel, Nichola Graham says:
“I'm 46, I don't have perfect skin, I don't have the perfect eye shape, face shape or lip shape. And I know that so many women out there are the same.
“What I do have is over 20 years of make-up experience. I know what the power of make-up is, how it can make you look and feel. My channel is for anyone, but will particularly appeal to the over forties, I feel anyway. I don't use filters in my videos and they are full HD. It's a no drama channel which focuses on products in a positive way. What may not work for me may work amazingly for someone else.
“I really didn't want to give up so many years of loving my make-up artist life because of my now disabled situation I find myself in. I love makeup and I have taught makeup for many years. I love sharing tips and tricks and it's been a really positive way for me to focus on what I love.”
