Shiseido add energy to 30+ skincare

Shiseido Essential Energy is a new collection from Japanese skincare experts Shiseido, aimed at women in their 30s.

Unveiled in Tokyo, the new range was inspired by Neuroscience, and features ReNeura Technology™, which addresses a growing concern among women within this age group that their skin is becoming increasingly desensitised to skincare.

The collection includes Moisturizing Cream 50ml, Moisturizing Gel Cream 50ml, Day Emulsion 75ml SPF30 PA+++ (only available in Asia), and Day Cream 50ml SPF20 (only available in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Americas).

ReNeura Technology™ harnesses the combined power of science and nature, and features a formulation infused with an Active Response Powder, made of malleable spheres that guide the skin's senses to detect information and damage in real time. Shiseido Essential Energy is said to perfectly encapsulate the Japanese philosophy of respect for and a deep connection to nature, using only the finest and most efficacious sustainably harvested elements. Key ingredients, chosen to combat dullness and dryness, include Assam Tea Extract and Pearl Extract inhibit double carbonylation of the stratum corneum and the dermal proteins, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract to suppress oxidation of lipids, and Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract which promotes the production of epidermal hyaluronic acid.

Products are fragranced with floral scents of rose and jasmine with fruity accents of fresh pear and sweet orange, rounded out by a soft note of musky wood.
