ishga host conference to celebrate decade of success
Seaweed skincare brand ishga held its fourth annual conference recently, celebrating 10 years of the company's success.
Held at the Kimpton Blythswood Hotel in Glasgow, the one-day ishga Conference 2023 highlighted new product launches and educational opportunities for the brand's spa partners.
ishga Co-Founder and Director, Leon Trayling, welcomed delegates with a business update. Malcolm Macrae, fellow Co-Founder and Director, offered an insight into research and development of seaweed in skincare and its additional protective benefits when delivered in organic skincare products alongside Sophia Mackay, Research & Development Project Manager for the brand.
Martin Macleod, also Co-Founder and Director, focused on sustainability around seaweed and the brand's harvesting methods on the local shores of the Hebrides.
The brand's Head of Marketing, Cara Hosie offered a first look at NPD for 2023, and Mark Smith Media shared the brand's success in consumer media.
Sarah Camilleri, Founding Editor at European Spa, joined the day to speak about the latest developments in the world of wellness. Craig Rose, the Doctor Seaweed, shared his insights on seaweed for nutrition, and the day concluded with Kerri Major's presentation on wellbeing and self-care.
