iSalon's marathon challenge for mental health charity
Salon tech firm iSalon are taking on two challenges to raise money for a mental healthy charity.
iSalon Managing Director Darren Pick and Head of Sales Mike Waldon will both be running two marathons in order to fundraise for
CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, which takes a no-nonsense approach to suicide prevent.
Darren and Mike's double challenge started earlier this month at the Brighton Marathon, finishing their 26.2 mile run with a dip in the sea.
Their next challenge will take place in October at the Manchester Marathon, the UK's second largest marathon event. The duo had previously wanted to run the Chicago Marathon, however due to Covid restrictions that has not been possible.
Darren Pick,
iSalon Software's Managing Director, says:
“Following tough times like we have all endured over the last eighteen months, it is so important that we all do anything we possibly can to help support others who may be struggling. That's not to say tough times are the only time we need to show support but just now especially it could make a huge difference.”
