Estée Lauder Companies appoints VP to lead new London hair care hub
The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Kathleen Mitchell as Vice President and General Manager, Hair Care Hub – West, to lead its newly established global Hair Care Hub serving the UK and Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and India.
Based in London, the new hub has been created as a regional centre of excellence for The Estée Lauder Companies' Hair Care portfolio. It will bring together leadership, commercial focus and market expertise to support growth across the region.
Kathleen Mitchell will report to Shane Wolf, Global Brand President, Aveda and Hair Care Brands, and will sit on both the Global Hair Care Leadership Team and the UK&I Executive Leadership Team. Her role includes overseeing the central hub team and working closely with global leadership to advance the company's ambitions for the hair care category.

Mitchell brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across beauty, retail and consumer brands in the UK, Europe and the US. She has spent more than 14 years in professional beauty leadership roles, helping to introduce brands into new markets and developing customer engagement strategies including digital and B2B capabilities.
Most recently, she served as Commercial Director at John Lewis, leading category strategy across Fashion, Beauty, Home and Technology. She has also held senior leadership positions at Stella & Dot, where she led business growth across European markets before taking on global responsibilities.
The establishment of the London-based Hair Care Hub further reinforces the UK's position as a key centre for beauty, retail, professional influence and international talent.
