Sean Dawson joins London's Electric salon

Award-winning hairdresser Sean Dawson has joined London hair salon Electric as Art Director.

Former President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame member and winner of British Hairdresser London Hairdresser of the Year, Sean is a well-known and respected name within the industry. More recently he has acted as USA Ambassador for Electric whilst living in LA, and his recent return to London has seen Sean join the London salon.

Sean was appointed to the role by founder and international creative director of the Electric brand, Mark Woolley.

Mark comments:

“Sean has been a great ambassador for Electric during his time in the States helping to educate our salon stockists and presenting hair shows, so it was a natural step for him to continue that relationship now he's moved back, by joining us in our London salon. He has proven strong managerial and creative skills that will be a great benefit to the team. It's a great signing and we're looking forward to this next chapter in the Electric brand.

Commenting on his new role, Sean adds:

“Mark and I've been friends for over 20 years and we worked really closely when Electric was launching into the USA. Working with the Mark and the brand has reignited my passion for the industry. We always said that one day we'd work together and now I'm back in the UK, it's the ideal time opportunity. It's going to be a fantastic journey ahead and I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my career with the #ElectricFamily.”
