bebop to hold Australian wildfire fundraiser
Following the harrowing scenes of the Australian wildfires, award-winning London salon, bebop, are set to hold a fundraising event on Saturday 11th January.
All funds raised will be donated to WIRES (Wildlife Emergency Fund and Salvation Army Emergency Response) dedicated to providing vitally-needed support and relief.
bebop owners Pont Smith and Chloe Herve are pulling out all the stops to raise as much money as possible and know their clients will be eager to support the appeal. The salon's efforts are being supported by R+Co who will offer each client booked into bebop on Saturday one of their new Concentrate treatments, worth £25 each.
Commenting, bebop co-owner Pont Smith, says:
“It's almost impossible to imagine what so many people in Australia are going through, many of them losing everything as the relentless blazes break out all around them. Losing their homes and businesses as well as the emotional trauma they are experiencing must be absolutely devastating and it's tragic that already lives have been lost and the toll on wildlife has been dreadful.
“We want to do everything we can to help - all the money raised on Saturday will go to the emergency fund to support people who literally need to rebuild their lives. Every little helps and if small businesses like ourselves boost the relief fund, together we can do so much for those in such desperate need.
“We are fortunate enough to be able to help, climate change is real!”
