Top airports for traveller wellness services revealed

London Heathrow Airport has taken top position in a survey of wellness facilities provided at UK airports.

Business travel specialists Good Travel Management identified all UK airports and considered 10 data points including spa, beauty and hairdressing services available to passengers as well as lounges, shower facilities and quiet zones.

London Heathrow Airport gained an overall score of 4.1/5 thanks in part to its Be Relax Spa offering massages, nail care and beauty services and Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar.

Birmingham Airport (BHX) took second place thanks to its facilities which include an AeroSpa delivering Jessica manicures, Callus Peel pedicures, massage and lash and brow treatments.

Newcastle Airport came third with Private SnoozePods in the Aspire Plus Lounge along with a beauty salon.
