High Street retailer Superdrug is set to open its first Skin Renew Nurse Facial Clinic, which will offer customers Botox and Dermal Filler treatments.
The service is being introduced at their store on The Strand in London, before it is rolled out to Superdrug stores across the UK.
Customers are required to undergo a consultation with a qualified nurse prior to the skin rejuvenation treatments, which will take place in a private treatment room within the shop.
Procedures are priced at £99 for the wrinkle-relaxing treatment of Crows Feet using Botulinum Toxin, and £199 for Juvéderm Hyaluronic Acid lip fillers.
Superdrug say that the introduction of cosmetic procedures comes following feedback from 10,000 of its customers, and the treatments will only be available to those aged over 25 years.
Caris Newson, Superdrug's Head of Health and Wellbeing Services, comments:
“We're launching this service in response to customer demand for anti-wrinkle and skin rejuvenation treatments.
“We're listening to what people are telling us they would like which is the reassurance that if they choose to have aesthetic treatments then it will be administered by highly qualified nurse practitioners in a private consultation room.
“Our minimum age for this service is currently 25 years old and over to ensure that, when supported by a full clinical consultation, our customers are able to make the best decisions about engaging in aesthetic treatments.”
Superdrug have offered beauty, nail and hair treatments in their in-store Beauty Studios for a number of years.
