Sterex publish L4 & L5 skin blemish book

Electrolysis experts Sterex have launched a companion text book for Level 4 and Level 5 Blemish removal treatments.

Skin Blemish Removal with Diathermy: A Practical Guide to Level 4s and Level 5 is edited by Gill Morris MCIM FRSA, and covers telangiectasia, skin tag and milia treatments for Level 4 students, and Advanced Blemish Removal including numerous non malignant skin lesions and blemishes for the new Level 5 qualification. 

Not only is the book an essential companion to Level 4 and 5 studies, it is also useful for students on other Sterex courses including Advanced Electrolysis and Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (ACP). The publication includes hints, tips, treatment adaptation advice and illustrated case studies, offering a guide for students as well as experienced practitioners, with contra-indications detailed as well as treatment techniques.

The book includes a foreword by Dr David B Eccleston M.B. Ch.B. MBCAM, in which he says this is “a much-needed text, as there is nothing currently available designed to educate non-dermatologist practitioners in the treatment of benign blemishes and lesions.”
