Scratch Stars Awards celebrated at glittering ceremony


The great and the good of the UK and Irish nail industries gathered in London at the weekend (6th July) to discover the winners of the Scratch Stars Awards 2025 and the team from ABT and Beauty & Hairdressing were thrilled to be part of the celebration. 

Hosted by Jeff Brazier alongside Helena Biggs, Editorial and Partnerships Director at Scratch magazine, the winners of 18 categories of competition were revealed at the Scratch Stars Party, held at the stylish Underglobe on London's South Bank. 

ABT part of Howden was proud to once again sponsor two categories: Nail Salon of the Year and Online Educator of the Year.

In addition, three nail pros were inducted into the Scratch Stars Hall of Fame. Catriona Leith (Ultimate Gel Tech and Ultimate One Stroke Artist), Jiak Hing (Ultimate Gel Polish Stylist) and Kayley Cairns (Ultimate Nail Stylist).

Educator of the Year: Michelle Brookes

Online Educator of the Year: Melanie Lewendon

Nail & Beauty Salon of the Year: Kate Lifestyle, Essex

Nail Team of the Year: Glitterbels Education Team

The Shooting Star Award: Theresa Foddering

Services to the Nail Industry: Belinda Price
