Schwarzkopf roll out hair analysis technology

Hair experts, Schwarzkopf Professional, have revealed SalonLab Technology, created to offer salon professionals to analyse clients' hair condition at molecular level, ensuring you can prescribe the right products to treat clients' hair needs. 

The Schwarzkopf Professional SalonLab Analyzer and Consultant App combines hairdresser expertise with data-driven insights, to provide a truly personalised in-salon experience. Cutting-edge technology allows a near-infrared sensor to measure the quality of the inner hair condition; until now, hair diagnosis has been limited to its outer appearance. 

The accompanying Schwarzkopf Professional SalonLab Consultation App connects with the handheld SalonLab Smart Analyzer to visualise the consultation process. The app displays a holistic hair profile so, combined with your expert hair assessment, clients are able see the data-driven results for themselves.

To accompany the SalonLab Analyzer, Schwarzkopf Professional has also released the Fibre Clinix range of home hair care to maintain salon results between appointments, according to individual prescriptions.

Trialled in Europe and Asia, SalonLab Technology is now being rolled out across the rest of Europe, Middle East and Africa, reaching the USA in early 2021.
