Salon offers 'quiet time' to help mental health
KG Salons in Bedfordshire has introduced ‘Quiet Time Appointments' for clients who require time to relax during their treatments.
KG Quiet Time initiative gives clients the opportunity to actively make a choice of having a ‘quiet' appointment whilst their therapist concentrates on carrying out their treatment.
Katie Godfrey, owner of
KG Salons, explains:
“It goes without saying that mental health is extremely important, and we recognise that it can be daunting for some people to come into a salon and sit with someone they don't know for an hour. This has also been heightened in the past year through lockdown, with the concept of having to socialise causing anxiety and stress. KG Salons prioritises our clients' experience, so clients can now add ‘KG Quiet Time' to their booking and they will be left to relax whilst the therapist concentrates on completing their treatment with no questions asked.”
KG Salons is also now part of the ‘Blue Light Card Initiative', offering 10% discount to NHS, Emergency Services, Social Care and Armed Forces staff.
