Phytomer unveils new Ayurveda-inspired body massage
French marine spa brand Phytomer has revealed a new holistic massage treatment with accompanying products inspired by the traditional Indian wellness technique of Ayurveda.
Phytomer's Trésor Wellness Absolute Serenity Massage is a 60-minute treatment that rebalances the body's energies through massage and the regenerative effects of marine ingredients. The 100% manual body and scalp massage was developed through close collaboration with Phytomer's international educators and an Ayurveda expert to release accumulated tension and relieve stress along with physical and mental fatigue.
After the treatment, the body is said to feel lighter, more supple, relaxed and energised.
The treatment is carried out using Supreme Body Massage Oil, a concentrate of organic Glasswort Oil to improve circulation and water storage in the epidermis, and Apricot Kernal Oil which reinforces the skin's hydrolipidic film for intense nourishment. This gentle oil provides perfect glide for a long massage and melts into the skin to leave a non-greasy finish.
In addition to the Absolute Serenity Massage, Phytomer is also introducing Trésor Des Mers Ultra-Silky Nourishing Cream for dry skin. Formulated with 98% ingredients of natural origin, the balm features Organic Glasswort Oil extracted from the Salicornia herbacea seaside plant, and Organic Mekabu Oil obtained from Laminaria brown seaweed to boost the skin's water and lipid reserves.
Salons and spas will be able to offer the new Phytomer Trésor Wellness and Trésor Des Mers body balm from October.
