Phorest hosts 8th global Salon Owners Summit
Delegates from across the globe gathered in Dublin recently as software firm Phorest hosted its 8th annual Salon Owners Summit held in partnership with colour management software brand Vish.
Dedicated to the hair, beauty and medi-aesthetic industries, the two-day event brought together a diverse group of speakers to discuss the latest trends and opportunities.
In a high-energy session, researcher and speaker David Meade focused on how implementing small changes including soft skills like body language can help you succeed. Founder of WAH Nails Sharmadean Reid, MBE used her keynote speech to focus on the use of client data to create the ideal customer persona. From the US, Geno Stampora and Nina Tulio delivered motivational talks on the tools needed to kickstart the year ahead.
PhorestFM host, Alex Bélisle-Springer shared their personal story to call for salons to offer a supportive role to clients whilst Rich Cullen and Verna Wall from Phorest shared “Success Stories from the Salon Floor,” highlighting best practices from around the world.
In addition to networking programmes, delegates also attended workshops covering Social Media, Phorest Software Development, Medi-Aesthetics Software Developments, the Art of Getting Things Done, Salon Sustainability Solutions and Tipping Legislation Insights.
Around 600 attendees joined Phorest for the event, which also supported the Hair & Beauty Charity. Phorest founder and CEO Ronan Perceval comments:
