Oscar winning MUA joins Beauty Council Advisory Board

Osar and BAFTA award-winning Hair & Makeup Designer, Nadia Stacey, has joined the British Beauty Council Advisory Board. 

Earlier this year, Nadia won the Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling and the BAFTA Award for Best Makeup & Hair for the film Poor Things alongside Mark Coulier and Josh Weston. She was previously nominated by the Academy in 2022 for her work on Cruella.

Nadia Stacey will join the board along with Richard Marshall, Founder of Pall Mall Barbers, Dr Alex Box, founder of virtual cosmetic software V-metics, and British Perfumer Lyn Harris.

Additionally, Professor Sandeep Ranote, Medical Director and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, has been appointed to aid the Council's work in areas of self-esteem, mental health and representation.

The Council has also launched its new Media Advisory Board, bringing together a selection of beauty publishing professionals, chaired by Meribeth Parker, current Chair of the British Beauty Council and Senior Vice-President of Platforms and Partnerships at News UK.
