With the fresh-faced, ‘no makeup’ and ‘clean girl’ aesthetic taking centre stage this season, it’s no wonder that this trend has spread into the world of lashes. Whilst lash enhancements remain as popular as ever, clients are moving towards natural-looking lashes that are easy to wear and suit all clients.
“The ‘clean girl' aesthetic that went viral on TikTok in 2024 has evolved so in 2025; it's not just about bare skin and brushed-up brows, it's about [lash] enhancement that is super subtle, and brown lash extensions embody this perfectly,” explains Emma McCarthy of lash enhancement experts Pinkfishes.
This has led to pro brands launching and expanding their brown lash enhancements, tint colours, lash lifting products and natural lash serums, enabling salons to deliver a barely-there look that's still immaculate.
"My clients are always asking for a brown tint to finish off their lash lift,” shares Ronni McIlduff, educator for Beautiful Brows & Lashes. “It creates the perfect everyday look that is soft and versatile, giving a sense of barely-there glam that flatters everyone.”
