NailBuff app for perfect polish matching

We've all been there, desperate to match our nails with our outfit and end up buying the same colour we already own! If you're guilty, then new app NailBuff is for you.

Using your phone or tablet's camera, NailBuff allows you to match nail polishes to your outfits or accessories by colour. You can also search the app's database of polishes by colour or brand. Brands already featured in the app's database include Essie, OPI, Jessica, Barry M, Ciaté, and butter LONDON. You can then create a ‘wish list' of your favourites, and a ‘collection' of polishes that you already own.

The NailBuff app has been created by Harpreet Birdi. An investment banker who worked in New York, Harpreet was frustrated that she could not find the same nail bar experience in London as she experienced in the Big Apple, and so decided to train as a nail technician, and combine her love of technology and nails to create NailBuff. 

Harpreet says:

“I love technology and was intrigued with how it could be blended with my other passion, beauty. NailBuff is a unique but fun way to discover new nail polishes and new brands all from your phone. We're excited to continue to develop the app and implement the buying function later this year. The ultimate goal is to become the go-to destination for nail polish purchases.”

Later this year, the app will introduce an e-commerce function, as well as listing nail bars where colours and brands are available.
