Nail Art Step by Step: Jungle Queen!
Animal print meets botanicals with this summer-inspired nail art design created by the team at
Home of Nail Art.
What you need:
•
HONA Gel Polish in Miami and Dunes shades.
•
HONA Detail Paint in Money and Mirror Gold shades.
•
A dotting tool/detail brush
Step #1. After prepping the nails as usual, apply two coats of Miami gel polish (from Home of Nail Art's new Miami Mani collection), curing for 60 seconds.

Step #2. Using your dotting tool or detail brush, apply random patches of Dunes gel polish leaving space in between. This will create the inside colour of your leopard print. Cure for 60 seconds.
If you prefer you can use your mirror gold for this step for added shine to the design.

Step #3. Using your dotting tool or detail brush, outline each nude spot with two or three wiggly C shape black lines to create the leopard print design.
You can fill out any sparse gaps with black dots and C shapes. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #4. Take your Money detail paint on your dotting tool/detail brush and mark five dot points.
Add two spots either side of each point close together so they are nearly touching.

Step #5. Use your detail brush to pull the colour from each dot toward a centre point of the flower.

Step #6. Do this same motion for all five petals, pulling the dots into a centre point.

Step #7. Add two flicks of colour to look like a flower stem or leaf. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #8. Take your mirror gold detail paint and place a few dots in the centre of the flower. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #9. Apply HONA SuperShine top coat and cure for 60 seconds.
