Lynton invest to reduce & offset carbon footprint

UK Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) manufacturer, Lynton, has launched a carbon offsetting scheme.

Over recent years, the Cheshire-based firm has actively looked at CO2 emissions resulting from its activities to devise a scheme to monitor, reduce and offset travel, energy usage and more.

Moving forward, the company will look to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible and offset the remainder through verified carbon reduction projects around the world. These projects will not only reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere but also help tackle poverty and improve local wildlife habitats.

So far, as part of its carbon offsetting programme, Lynton has invested in native tree-planting schemes in the Kenyan Great Rift Valley and projects to prevent deforestation within the Brazilian Amazon.
