Level 2 success for Q Hair and Beauty student
West Sussex-based Q Hair and Beauty's first academy student has gained her Level 2 Apprenticeship Diploma for Beauty Professionals.
Twenty-year-old Zara Evans of Chichester achieved her City and Guild's accredited qualification through the partnership between Rewards Hair and Beauty Academy and Q Hair and Beauty, with training taking place at Q's Donnington branch. The partnership was launched in June 2020.
Offering all aspects of beauty education, the academy integrates students into the salon environment enabling them to increase their skills and confidence levels.
Zara will now join the
Q Hair and Beauty team as an employee.
Commenting on Zara Evans' success on achieving her Level 2 Apprenticeship Diploma for Beauty Professionals qualification, Dawn Lawrence, Chief Executive of the Q Hair and Beauty Group, says:
“We are thrilled that Zara has taken full advantage of the elite training she has been offered and we're delighted she has now joined our team as a beauty therapist.
“We believe we are the only hair and beauty salon in our region to offer apprenticeships in both hair and beauty. We currently have two students working in the academy, one working towards her Level 3, via the college, and our second enrolled with us for Level 2.
“The academy gives us the unique ability to grow our own team and create and replicate exactly what we provide for our future hairdressers. We have been able to create a future-proof business model and gain a strong reputation in West Sussex for education within the beauty industry - training the next generation and ensuring continuing excellence in our salons and community.”
