Josh Wood Colour Station unveiled in Boots

Hair colourist Josh Wood has launched the first colour consultation space dedicated to a home hair colour brand in Boots Covent Garden.

The Josh Wood Colour Consultation Station offers consumers expert advice and product education to help them navigate the Josh Wood colour system and find their perfect hair colour match, with a consultant offering personal guidance. 

The station is segmented into Colour / Conceal / Care as well as divided into ‘lighter hair' and ‘darker hair' sides. There's also on-screen advise from Josh Wood featuring top tips for home hair colouring and product recommendations. 

Josh Wood, founder of Josh Wood Colour, says: 

“Colour should be fun and life enhancing, not something that feels mechanical. I have created a play area so our community can try the temporary colours and see which one works for them. We have a colour expert on hand to help navigate the system, and advise on which colour works best for every skin tone.”

He continues:

By creating this retail space we're pulling home hair colour out of the dark ages – and giving it the same energy, attitude and attention to detail as a premium beauty brand. The launch of the Josh Wood Colour Consultation Station coincides with the introduction of Shade Shot Gloss, a semi-permanent glossing treatment which revives hair colour, stops fade and creates shine.
