Jane Wurwand to be honoured by CEW
Skincare pioneer Jane Wurwand is set to be recognised by the CEW at the 2018 CEW Achiever Awards.
Co-founder of skincare brand Dermalogica, global skin therapist training establishment The International Dermal Institute, and women's entrepreneurial initiative FITE, Jane will be presented with a Lifetime Achiever award in November.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1986, Dermalogica has grown to be a leading professional skincare brand, used by more than 100,000 skin therapists in more than 100 countries globally. Jane founded The International Dermal Institute three years previously to offer postgraduate skincare training.
In 2011, Jane launched FITE – Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship – to assist entrepreneurial females across the globe. Since its inception, over 95,000 women have gained financial independence and accessed educational programmes and training.
This November, she is set to launch FOUND/LA, a new initiative under the Wurwand Foundation to assist the success of Los Angeles entrepreneurs, and in turn, impact their communities and neighbourhoods.
Jane was previously honoured by President Obama, when she was appointed as Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship in 2016.
Jane will receive her Lifetime Achiever award at the 2018 CEW Achiever Awards on 6th November at London's Jumeriah Carlton Tower.
